Club Profile

Jack Kramer, with the help of his long-time assistant Vic Braden, established the club in 1962.  Initially, the facilities included 9 tennis courts, 4 paddle tennis courts and several basketball courts.  In 1963, the junior Olympic-size swimming pool and the original clubhouse were completed.  In 1970, the membership purchased the land and facilities from Jack Kramer and issued stock certificates to 246 charter members.  The club remains one of the few member owned tennis facilities in California.

In 1972, member loans were used to finance the expansion of the club.  Three tennis courts were added, the junior lounge was built, and the paddle tennis courts were replaced by an addition tennis court.  The clubhouse was remodeled in 1987 and the pro shop and business offices were added to bring the club to its current design.
